15-17 October 2013, 12 people from Sichuan Environment and Engineering Appraisal Center (SEEAC) attended the the Public Hearing within the Sino-Swedish Project Intergrated Approach to Control of Release of Pollutants in the Pulp and Paper Sector, over 80 representatives from China MEP, the Swedish International development Agency, the Swedish environmental Protection Agency, Sichuan environmental Protection Bureau, research institutes, NGOs and the public attended the Public Hearing, which Sweden held simulated environment court in China for the fisrt time.

Benefited by the Sino-Swedish simulated environment court, SEEAC opens up the way and perspective towards environmental management. Compared to the approval of the EIA system in china , Swedish sewage permit system in the application process is based on judicial resolution, supplemented by administrative licensing, with full public participation, social supervision and strong sense of corporate environmental responsibility, which has a very positive reference of China's environmental protection management. It is worth learning and thinking for SEEAC in future EIA assessments.
